Little Mouse

The tiny voice of Little Mouse is brought to life by the sound of the Mandolin – a stringed instrument which evolved from the lute family of instruments in Europe and is one of the oldest musical instruments.

The type of melody that you can hear now is called a Reel. A reel is a fast tune and one of the most commonly played types of traditional music in Scotland – probably because it’s so much fun to play and dance to!
